Welcome to English/Language Arts class for the 2023-2024 school year at Crystal River Middle School. My name is Suzie Martin-Pruiksma and this is my 19th year teaching in Citrus County! I graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Music Engineering and a minor in Computer Science (Go CANES!!!). In 2005, I obtained my education classes for my teaching certificate from Central Florida College and worked for 7 years at Crystal River Middle, then 5 years at Lecanto Middle. Then, I taught 10th and 11th grade at Crystal River High for a year before coming back to my roots as a Bearcat!

     Throughout the year, this website will be used to post my daily Lesson Plans that link to my Canvas page. That way, students will always know what we did in class each day so that they can be successful!
